Hold Your Blessings

HOLD  ONTO  YOUR  BLESSINGS

In the book of Luke of Holy Bible chapter 5 , Bible tells about a man named Simon who was a fisherman by profession. He worked hard all night and haven't caught anything. Jesus Christ got into his boat and asked Simon to put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch and they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break.

Nets Began to Break means Simon wasn't able to handle the abundance of blessings i.e. fishes.

(This incident happened before the resurrection of Jesus Christ)

In the book of John of Holy Bible chapter 21 , Bible tells about the same person Simon happening the same incident that he worked all night but haven't caught anything but when Jesus said cast the net on right side of the boat and they caught net to landfill of great fishes, and for all there were so many , yet was not the net broken .

Nets wasn't broke means Simon now able to handle the abundance of blessings i.e. fishes .(This incident happened after the resurrection of Jesus Christ)

WHY  SIMON  WAS  ABLE  TO  HANDLE  THE BLESSINGS  IN  JOHN  21  WHILE  HE WASN'T  ABLE  TO  HANDLE THE  BLESSINGS i.e. fishes  IN  LUKE  5?

Incident and the person mentioned are same only the difference is that these two incidents happened in different timings. Luke 5 happened before the resurrection of Jesus Christ and John 21 happened after the resurrection of Jesus Christ. 

The Bible says that after the first incident Simon followed Jesus and He spent each and every day with Lord Jesus Christ and when a person spend his or her time with Almighty God , He fills that person with his wisdom and person able to hold or handle their blessings.

Example : 

A person having a shop tried hard to get customers but no one came . He began to pray and one day Lord answered his prayers and blessed him and many customers came to his shop and because many people were rushing at the same time . He wasn't able to handle and  got frustrated ,angry and talks rudely to his customers because of which customers began to leave the shop i.e. he wasn't able to hold onto abundance of blessings which the Lord gave. But when he began to spend time with GOD by worshipping the Lord , Reading the Word Of God and praying . Lord filled the man with his wisdom and he learnt to handle or hold onto the blessings.

Conclusion:

Spend time with GOD daily by worshipping , reading bible and praying and Lord will fill you with his wisdom and you will be able to hold onto your blessings.

Prayer :

Our Heavenly Father , we come to you in the name of Jesus Christ. Lord give us grace that we able to spend time in the word everyday and fill us with your wisdom to handle the blessings. Thank you for always being with us. Amen
